Automated Weighing Systems


Automating a weighing process is a common place automation requirement, and particularly relevant for inhaled products. RTS has extensive experience in automated weighing and provides a range of weighing solutions to help with inhaler development and testing.


Shot weight testing, to establish the weight of the delivered dose, is a common requirement for both pressurised metered dose and dry powder inhalers. RTS provides dedicated shot weight testing systems, and fully integrates analytical balances into our larger fully automated systems, to automatically record delivered dose weights.

RTS also provides a range of automated solutions to assist with other inhaler weighing applications, including: canister leak testing applications, total can content automation and powder weighing systems.
