RTS Tube Auditor™ – Sample Volume and Precipitate Measurement using High Speed Vision  
 
RTS’ Tube Auditor™ uses high speed vision technology to ‘see’ the volume of sample and the presence of precipitate in a tube. This automated solution offers significant benefits compared to both manual auditing and other automated solutions by quickly and accurately providing information regarding both sample volume, precipitate and hence sample quality.

Empty wells, or wells with the wrong concentration, result in wasted reagents, repeat screens, increased costs and potentially false negatives. Auditing the integrity of samples within the store has a significant impact on the quality of the delivered plate wells and the resulting screening process. Knowing the volume of sample within the source tubes, and potentially whether any has precipitated out of solution, resulting in a different concentration, is a key requirement.
