Environmental Policy


It is the policy of RTS to be aware of and to comply with any relevant statutory and legislative requirements applicable to environmental issues and standards. 

 

Directors are responsible for monitoring statutory and legislative requirements pertaining to the environment aspects of Company activities, products and services and the actions of its employees.

 

In addition, they monitor activities, products and services that have environment implications, we give consideration to:

 

Emissions to atmosphere

Discharges to water

Waste products

Contamination of land

Use of land, water, fuels and energy and other natural resources

Noise, colour, dust, vibration and visual impact

Effects on specific parts of the environment and ecosystems

Disposal of waste products

Recycling

 

New legislation is considered through management reviews to identify any areas where current activities, products and services may not comply.

 

The Health & Safety Director also has responsibility for environmental  performance.  Our policy is focused on minimising/eliminating the impact of our activities on the environment, communities and employees.
