SBS 2010
11/04/2010

RTS is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at SBS 2010.

The event takes place in Phoenix, Arizona 11-15 April.  Visit us on Booth 630 to see the new Tube Auditor and learn about our range of Automated Sample Management Solutions.

In addition to exhibiting, we are also hosting a joint workshop with Microsonics: ‘Find and Fix Compound Library Issues´. Join us to learn about two new products that can ´find and fix´ the most common library problems – Volume Tracking and Precipitates.

Finding compound library problems of volume discrepancies and precipitated compounds is now easy with the RTS Tube AuditorTM.

Fixing
the concentration problem caused by precipitation is also easy through the use of the Microsonics HENDRIX SM100 Ultrasonic Fluid Processor.

This free Breakfast Workshop takes place at 9.30am Sunday, April 11th 2010.  To register click here.

The following new technologies will be discussed:

RTS Tube Auditor: Designed to work with standard SBS tube racks, and suitable for either manual or robotic loading, the RTS Tube Auditor saves time and money for your compound management and screening operations. This is the only high-speed instrument capable of accurately measuring liquid volume and detecting sample precipitate without the need to de-cap your microtubes.

Microsonic Systems’ HENDRIX SM100 Ultrasonic Fluid Processor
: Ultrasonic energy is a well proven technique for initial solubilization of compounds in DMSO – now Microsonic Systems brings the same ultrasonic power to microplate wells with a unique non-contact ultrasonic technology that: Resolubilizes compounds that have precipitated out of DMSO; Mixes assays in standard microplates of all densities; Suspends beads for binding cells and proteins; Assures that magnetic beads are well dispersed for DNA binding.
