Software Test Engineers

We are currently recruiting Software Test Engineers to join our dynamic team in Manchester, UK.  
 
If you are a recent computer science or science graduate with practical experience of software testing, and you are looking to make your next career move, this may be the job for you:

Senior Systems Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Manchester, UK.  
 
Reporting to the Engineering Manager this is a pivotal role working closely with the customer to design and implement complex system requirements. As the engineering lead for a project it will also require a high level of cross-functional interaction to co-ordinate the design of sub-systems and integration of total system, providing updates to stakeholders on the engineering status. This role will serve as the primary technical resource for design, manufacture and debug as the product(s) or projects move to completion.
 
Specific job requirements:
·         Experience in one of the following: laboratory automation, robotics, life science and medical devices
·         Experience of one or more engineering technologies including precision motion control, image acquisition, image processing, high-speed data transfer and real-time control
·         Experience in developing measurement systems and verifying those via measurement systems analysis, including gauge R&R
·         Experience in executing formal risk analyses (i.e. FMEA, FTA)
·         Experience with using Design for Six Sigma and Design for Reliability tools is a strong plus
·         Authored design input requirements/system specifications
·         Created system architectures
·         Led the creation of technical manuals
·         Transferred systems to manufacturing or commissioned systems at a customer site
·         Executed verification testing
·         Experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams in the development of complex electromechanical systems.
 
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and pro-active team member and have the ability to communicate effectively both with internal and external customers at all levels.   The role will require international travel to assist customers and meet with colleagues at other BLSS sites, therefore a willingness and flexibility to work away from home is essential.
Ideally the job holder will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
